From Cairo to Kigali: Suplyd Joins Africa’s Top 10 Entrepreneurs at ABH 2025

Suplyd has been selected among the Top 10 finalists in this year’s Africa’s Business Heroes (ABH) competition, one of the continent’s most prestigious entrepreneurship awards founded by the Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Philanthropy.

After a competitive semi-final round in Dakar, Senegal, where founders from across Africa presented their businesses before a global panel of judges, Suplyd will represent Egypt at the Grand Finale in Kigali, Rwanda, in December 2025.

Africa’s Business Heroes is a flagship philanthropic program that identifies and supports 100 outstanding African entrepreneurs over ten years. Each year, it recognizes ten finalists, known as the “heroes,” who are creating scalable and sustainable impact in their industries.

The initiative provides funding, mentorship, and visibility to strengthen the continent’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and highlight African innovation on the global stage. Being named among the Top 10 means standing out from tens of thousands of applicants across all 54 African countries and joining a select group of founders shaping Africa’s economic future.
